Clarissa Peña-Corthell
I want to take a moment to share a bit about my journey with you.
Life has thrown its curveballs – after an accident ended my dancing dreams, I experienced firsthand what it’s like to lose something you love dearly.
However, growing up in the South, my Christian roots have shaped who I am today, guiding me toward a deeper sense of spirituality.
Outside of my work as a therapist
Having been a single mom, I’ve walked the challenging path of raising children on my own, feeling both the joys and burdens that come with it.
My heart knows the weight of having someone you love deployed; as the proud mother of a son in the military, I’ve felt that heavy worry and longing all too well.
Family is at the heart of everything I do, and this journey has taught me how to embrace motherhood and how it evolves over time. Whether it’s enjoying nature together or simply cherishing our moments at home, these experiences ground me.
I’m passionate about personal growth
I believe that investing in ourselves opens doors to new possibilities and deeper connections.
I also find joy in exploring life’s bigger picture and setting intentions for what truly matters to me. It’s this commitment to growth and self-discovery that fuels my desire to support others on their journeys.
I’m here, not just as your therapist, but as someone who genuinely cares and understands your path. Together, we can navigate through life’s challenges with compassion and support.
Erika Osorio Diaz
My professional background includes working with individuals and families who have experienced trauma, family separation, incarceration, migration, foster care involvement, and significant life transitions. Prior to my work in mental health, I spent nearly a decade with the Red Cross in Colombia, responding to natural disasters and supporting communities during times of crisis. These experiences shaped my understanding of resilience and continue to inform my compassionate, person-centered approach to therapy.
As a bilingual therapist, I provide services in both English and Spanish and strive to create an inclusive environment where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered. I am passionate about supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families as they navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and work toward their personal goals.
Whether you are coping with anxiety, stress, trauma, life transitions, or family challenges, I am committed to meeting you where you are and walking alongside you in your journey toward healing and well-being.
Beyond my clinical work, I am a wife, mother of two daughters, and an active member of my community. I continue to volunteer whenever possible.
These personal and professional experiences have reinforced my belief that connection, compassion, and hope are essential ingredients for healing.
